Artist Statement

I enjoy playing for people. I play in bars, resorts and restaurants including festivals and special events. I play for art openings and museums, train rides and cruises. Learning the language of jazz continues to be my main focus. I know many styles of music and love to play them all but I favor playing jazz. I play with a wide range of ensembles including big band jazz, rock and folk bands. My compositions cover many genres and I produce many types of music for myself and others in my home studio on the shore of Lake Superior in Grand Portage Minnesota.
